John Burk is an outdoor writer, photographer, and historian from New England. He has authored or edited regional books and guides, which are show below.
John is also a contributor to publications such as Northern Woodlands, AMC Outdoors, Sanctuary, The Guide to the Johnny Appleseed Trail, Uniquely Quabbin, and Natural New England, and the New England Photography Guild, a collaboration of juried New England photographers. John's previous work experience included 10 years as a historical researcher and archivist at the Harvard Forest, an ecological research station of Harvard University in central Massachusetts.
